Subaru Loves Pets Month at Heuberger Motors

October is #subarulovespets month at Subaru dealers around the country. Heuberger Motors is proud to have supported this month long event that benefits The Underdogs in our city’s animal shelters. This year, we’ve partnered with All Breed Rescue and Training for some super fun events at our store. These events are designed to help create awareness in the community about Underdogs, raise some money for our non-profit partner and most of all, get some of these very deserving dogs a forever home.

All Breed Rescue and Training will visit our store every Friday this month for different events. Most of these require a prior online sign-up so if they are interesting to you, be sure to click through the following links to sign-up or find out more information.

Heuberger’s Contribution

This month, participating Subaru dealers (like Heuberger) will donate $100 per dog adopted to their partner shelter. In our case, we are also covering adoption fees as well as donating to All Breed Rescue and Training. If adopting you’ll still need to meet ABRT’s adoption criteria. What’s Happening When

Any Day In October

Visit the All Breed Training and Rescue website to make a donation. We suggest $5 or more. Show our staff the confirmation of your donation on your phone and well give you a toy for your own dog! These are really cool toys from Bark!. This year’s edition of the toy is a “Chewbaru Outbark” styled like an 08-2005 model Outback. Super fun!

October 1st

Canine Tricks Competition- Bring your well-trained canine in to show off how smart he/she is! Prizes will be handed out for best trick. Our staff and customers will judge the best tricks before handing out prizes!

October 8th

Adoption Event- Though ABRT has pets available all the time, we are hosting their team this day to show off some specific pups that are ready to go home with the right family. Couldn’t be a better time to adopt since we are covering your adoption fee!

October 15th

Canine Photoshoot- Sign your dog up to have their photo taken at our store. We’ll have a photographer, set and lighting on hand to take super professional photos! Your donation will secure a great photo and help a less fortunate dog down the road find a home!

October 22nd

Make a Dogs Day!- This day is all about YOUR dog. What can you do to make this day extra special for him or her? That favorite walk or hike? An extra treat? Maybe you could take the day off and just make it all about your special fur baby on National Make a Dogs Day day. Post a photo on social media with hashtag #makeadogsday so we can see all the amazing, spoiled pups in our community.
