My wife and I are in the market for a new vehicle. We travel the country since I'm a 100% disabled combat veteran and my wife is a travel nurse fighting covid all across the country. We finally found the perfect combination of what we were wanting and after reaching out to them we were told that they don't sell to out of state customers. We literally live in hotels going city to city helping hospitals that are critically understaffed and because of it this dealership won't take our money to buy a new vehicle. Unbelievable was an understatement.

I had a good experience. I am being bombarded after the purchase to leave a review. My experience was fine. It was nothing extraordinary. I believe if a business wants a 5 star review then they should go above and beyond to earn a 5 star review. My experience was fine. I got a good price and everyone was friendly. But no one has provided any service or experience that was above and beyond. The reason I chose this dealership is because of price. I got the price I wanted, so I'm happy. If you truly want a 5 star review and want to be held to higher standards, then I suggest you exceed expectations instead of only meeting them.

I went to Heuberger before Christmas to check out an Outback. I was driving a Tacoma but found it uncomfortable and wanted something different. My son and I wandered the lot, and Art came out to meet us. He was so personable and easy to work with. I didn’t think that I was going to purchase a vehicle that day, or trade in my Tacoma, but Art made is very easy. I purchased a 2018 Outback for a fair price. There were a couple door dings on the driver side, and I was told that they could be fixed after the holidays. I called Art to set up my appointment, dropped off my car the next day, and when I got it back, it looked brand new. I would definitely buy another car from Heuberger, and I highly recommend Art as a salesman.

Thank you Marshall Guffy for excellent customer service!

My husband and I were dissatisfied with two things: first, the hard sell from finance and sales on the purchase of the extended warranty when we bought our used Subaru Crosstrek. Second, the lack of service when we needed to get a missing cargo cover replaced. I also had a complaint about the Heuberger Subaru finance department since I was given incorrect information when I contacted them about canceling the extended warranty. However, we have nothing but praise for Marshall Guffy. He is very honest and provided excellent customer service in helping us to cancel the contract. My husband and I will return to Heuberger Subaru because of employees like him who stand behind the reputation of this dealership!

Best buying experience ever.

My wife and I knew we wanted a Forester, but I was dreading the new car buying experience. Our initial contact was with Joey Worley. I was "looking over my shoulder" through the entire process and was very pleasantly surprised by how hassle free the entire process was. We got the car we wanted at a fair price. Joey shepherded us through the entire process, all the while ensuring any and all questions and concerns were being addressed and answered. The bottom line is we love our car and thanks to Joey the buying experience was something about which I didn't need to stress.

Just bought an outback from Jack Boehm. He is truly the best car salesman we have ever dealt with. He never tried to up sell us a bunch of junk we didn’t need, unlike all the other salesmen from other Subaru dealers. He was professional, honest, super helpful, attentive and very accommodating to all our needs. He made a conscious effort to keep us informed why waiting for the special order to arrive. He came in on his vacation day off to deliver our car. We never felt rushed or pressured in any way throughout the entire process. Jack was amazing! Abigail in finance was fabulous too.

I contacted John to help find me a car because he had been instrumental in helping my son buy a car in May of this year. I was so impressed with John's service to my son in May that I wanted to have him help me, as well. I had been in an accident in September, and the insurance company of the person who hit me was "totaling" my 2010 Subaru. John was very sympathetic about my situation, and also understood my financial situation. He found a very nice Subaru for me with low mileage. (My fifth Subaru!) He was very honest, friendly, and also stress free to work with. He was willing to answer many questions I had about the financing for the car, and also questions I had when it was ready for me to drive off the lot. John is a real asset to Heuberger, and I will most definitely seek him out again if I am ever in need of another car. My husband and I purchased a 2021 Subaru Outback Touring XT from Rick O’Donnell at Heuberger Subaru in Colorado Springs. Rick was fun to work with and responsive to all our questions. This was our first ever Subaru and the first ever vehicle we bought site unseen. We live in AZ. Heuberger had the inventory we were looking for and had to sacrifice nothing. Great Experience!

Purchased a 2020 Outback from these folks last week. Flew from Fort Wayne, IN to get it and drive it back, because the selection from dealers in the Midwest is so poor. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had in 50 years of cars. Great staff, starting with Rick O'Donnell on their web portal, who was amazingly responsive, including before and after their business hours. Picked up at the Colorado Springs airport by their sales manager, Marshall Guffy, who is a great guy. The car transaction was smooth and painless, the PRICE was $3,000 less than anywhere in the Midwest, and the professionalism and kindness of their staff a nice breath of fresh mountain air! Don't buy a Subaru anywhere else, it's well worth the trip, and Colorado is beautiful.

I have used this dealership in the past for multiple purchases due to having had a great salesman. I can honestly say times have changed in dealing with this dealership and not for the better. I had hoped my family would have a life long relationship of buying vehicles from this dealership but the manager I dealt with and the General Manager, through their actions, guaranteed that my business will be going to a dealership that values customers and customer service and isn’t looking to make every last dollar, which sadly wasn’t the case when I purchased my first two vehicles from them. A deal was in place to purchase a vehicle and the deal itself was a solid deal. Extra add ons were being done. While in the process of this, a hail storm occurred. I received a call from a salesman who advised there was a situation. I got 7 terrible photos the next day from the manager who I had been dealing with primarily. The car hadn’t been washed so I had no real idea about the damages but 7 photos was alarming and at that point I was not comfortable buying a “new”’damaged vehicle. The dealership wanted me to take the damaged vehicle but I had no interest in taking a damaged vehicle paying the amount of money I was paying. New means new and damaged is not new. The dealership began to work with me for an alternative purchase. The vehicle specifications I wanted were not readily available and so I inquired about trying to get a 2021. What I wanted would come in by September and I agreed I could wait. While discussing the deal I asked if it would be possible to get 0 interest. I was advised the dealership does not set the interest rates and chase Subaru finance does. The manager gave me the number and told me to try. After numerous calls I reached someone who reached out to the dealership to advise of my inquiry. Apparently this made multiple people upset at the dealership. I was called by the manager on 8/10/20 and he began to go over the deal on the 2021. He fundamentally changed the deal lowering my trade in by 500 as he said it’s another month having passed. I have no control over that as the vehicle that matches my requirements wasn’t in until September and the trade in was not being utilized. I was quite upset about this as the vehicle is not being used by me since it was being traded in. At that point I asked for my deposit back and a shouting.match ensued with the manager who told me we had an oral contract on a recorded line and since the dealership had done work on that vehicle I wasn't getting my deposit back. I advised him the purchase was for a new vehicle not a damaged “new”. vehicle. This didn't sit well with me and I advised I would look at reporting this matter to the state since my deposit was being held without cause. Within 5 minutes of sending that email a general manager called me. He was rather rude as when I asked him if he wanted to hear my side his reply was I don’t care what your side is. I’m the GM and have beee so for 33 years. I will be giving you a refund and do not use our dealership moving forward which didn’t need to be stated as I will no longer look to utilize this dealership again before he said that. This dealership clearly does not treat their customers like they’re building a book of business anymore but rather as a dollar sign. The GM clearly in this case shows what customer service means to him with this interaction. I received what amounted to spam emails from the manager wanting to help me purchase vehicle while I was in the process of working with him to try and do so, further illustrating the lack of awareness, care, and customer service one would expect from a business. I would’ve rated the manager a zero if I could as when the deal was working well, he was tolerable. The moment the deal began to go sideways, his attitude and demeanor were greatly lacking

I have contacted this dealership several times, and also Subaru of America twice, to get information on how to display the Media Access Code (MAC) Address for the Starlink unit in the 2019 Impreza we purchased at this dealership. Subaru of America basically stonewalled my requests. Heuberger Motors has intercepted one request I directed to a specific individual (Abby Stell) I felt was most likely able to provide the requested information, and redirected my request to other individuals, none of whom have been able to provide the requested information.

My wife and I knew we wanted a Forester, but I was dreading the new car buying experience. Our initial contact was with Joey Worley. I was "looking over my shoulder" through the entire process and was very pleasantly surprised by how hassle free the entire process was. We got the car we wanted at a fair price. Joey shepherded us through the entire process, all the while ensuring any and all questions and concerns were being addressed and answered. The bottom line is we love our car and thanks to Joey the buying experience was something about which I didn't need to stress.

Awesome sales guy, terrible back office. Would absolutely not go back. From the moment they had my pre approved check from Navy Fed , they were rude. Then I get a call back a month later stating they have my paperwork that got mailed back. They had my address wrong. Then I go out of my way to go to pick it up. Takes over and hour to have anyone to talk to. Every time I told someone what I was there for they walked away. By the time I got to talk to someone I have two different bills of sales. The lady who helped me was rude and condescending through out the whole conversation. I really do bet they didn’t mess up the mailing of that check though. Good luck to who ever tries that circus.

Double Check Work

Very good and respectful sales reps, horrible finance clerk (Scott Brown). Failed to double check work, was to lazy to verify if the two names matched and used someone else’s social security number for loan approval even after the person already brought a car the previous day. Someone with that much access to people’s SSN should not be lazy or careless.

He never tried to up sell us a bunch of junk we didn’t need, unlike all the other salesmen from other Subaru dealers. I had met Jack back in the fall when I stopped in to just get an idea of what kind of vehicle I was looking for. Last week the time came and it was time to purchase. I called Jack and we set up an appointment. He found me exactwhat I was looking for and in my price range. He was incredibly knowledgeable and very personable. We talked about all kinds of thing while we waited for finance to get me all set. Once finance was ready, Buzz sat down with me and went over all the different things. I went in on a Thursday with my 2 young daughters, walked the lot TWICE and went through the whole store and NOT ONE EMPLOYEE even so much as said hello to me! Then the next Tuesday, I went in 8 hours after submitting my credit app online, Only to be told come back tomorrow. We didn’t get it submitted in time. Fair enough. Come back after work the next day at about 730, should’ve been done by 830, no, didn’t get out until 930. Then there are still stickers on my car, and it has only a quarter tank of gas. I know I bought a used car, but I still spent over $50,000 with you guys. And then to top it all off, I submit a bad google review and their management team calls MY BOSS asking for me to take it down. This dealership is the epitome of unprofessionalism

Service? More like what's the purpose!

Horrible service, great salesman. They took in my car to look at a check engine light issue telling me it would be ready the next day (as they had to just fix one small part, that their parts store had that was attached to the store). Get a call back the next day saying the parts store is closed; all the while they knew the parts store would be closed on the weekend, and the holiday. Here's the good part - when they told me it'd be ready the next day and then wouldn't be ready until the next WEEK due to the "holiday" of new year's eve, they would be closed. Their used car's (it was a 2015 WRX with less than 50k miles) are supposed to be certified, but by the time the car had driven 15 minutes to my house from the dealership (without stalling or any issues) the check engine light was on.

Inquired about similar vehicle with a 6 in a new model Salesman quoted a price of $28,000 even before entering the building! Once inside price changed by $ 2000.00 dollars! When I attempted a negotiation suddenly there were none available ! Go online multiple vehicles were listed with 6 cylinder engines! Being the only Subaru dealer in Colorado Springs should be investigated why no one else has entered this market! Their practices are below par!

I went to Heuberger before Christmas to check out an Outback. I was driving a Tacoma but found it uncomfortable and wanted something different. My son and I wandered the lot, and Art came out to meet us. He was so personable and easy to work with. I didn’t think that I was going to purchase a vehicle that day, or trade in my Tacoma, but Art made is very easy. I purchased a 2018 Outback for a fair price. There were a couple door dings on the driver side, and I was told that they could be fixed after the holidays. I called Art to set up my appointment, dropped off my car the next day, and when I got it back, it looked brand new. I would definitely buy another car from Heuberger, and I highly recommend Art as a salesman.

My wife, daughter and myself went to dealer about 3:00 on a weekday. We wandered around the showroom looking at their floor models. We were there around 20 minutes and no one ever acknowledged us. Some salespeople were busy some just talked on their cellphone. So we went outside. An employee, not a sales person, ask if we needed help. He went to get a salesperson and finally got one to assist us. He was more interested in telling us about how fast they sold cars rather than listening to us. If this is the attitude of this dealer I will never step foot into their dealership again.

I will not buy another Subaru or do business with this dealership again. I expected them to advocate for me on an out of warranty engine issue with Subaru of America and they fell short of my expectations. They also dinged my vehicle while doing service on it and would not accept responsibility. Go elsewhere for a new vehicle or service! Update: I cannot get a service manager to return my calls to discuss my concerns or the reasons for my negative review and now I have left a message for the general manager. I will be looking to trade in my Subaru and buy a Honda, Toyota or Hyundai. If you are considering a Subaru, I suggest you look at your other options. We thought the Outback was a quality vehicle, but when a $5000 engine repair was needed, Subaru did not stand behind its product. (Do your research on the class action lawsuit against Subaru).

Well organized by management and sales staff down to the Lot Boy. All employees encountered appeared happy and extremely courteous in a no nonsense way. Generally speaking, in other Dealerships, when you enter, the sales people lack the training on their own product and managers are even worse. No so at Heubergers. They have strict rules that are followed to protect the consumer and employees alike. No games in the presenting of numbers.

Heuberger Subaru provided me excellent service.

Jim Adams and I worked out the specs over the phone for a new 2018 WRX, built to specs. The car came in a month early. I flew out to Heuberger Subaru to avoid a 12 hour drive. They picked me up at the airport, drove me to the dealership and I immediately met with Jim. After agreeing that the delivered specs were accurate and a short test drive, I met with Michael and then Bernard to clear up warranty questions. I must say, I drove out a happy customer less than 2 hours after landing in Colorado Springs-effortless ! As for the WRX, get the STI exhaust upgrade- it sounds amazing. It is such a beautiful car and so well built. It is "plenty quick" in my opinion ad needs no modification. A true joy to slowly break-in on my 750 mile drive home. I highly recommend Heuberger Subaru to anyone looking for a great new car at a great value.

My husband and I just purchased our second vehicle from Heuberger Subaru in Colorado Springs. Paul Blessing, our sales representative, was an absolute delight and such a paragon of professionalism. We waited a while for all the paperwork to go through, but there is a lovely little coffee shop in the waiting area, and Paul was great to chat with and was totally transparent about where we were in the process. I called Heuberger Subaru on August 22nd and visited with Paul Blessing. I live in Lincoln, Nebraska and had test driven the Legacy and Imprezza and decided on the Legacy. The dealer in Lincoln did not have the color I wanted and could not find one in their region. My son and I got on line and found the color and called the dealership that evening. We spoke with Paul Blessing regarding the 2017 Legacy listed on their website. He indicated that that they still had the vehicle and would I want a quote. The quote I received was very good and the Legacy that I purchased had a lot more features. We completed all required information via the internet. The process was amazing and Paul was a blessing to work with. My son and I drove to Colorado Springs on August 24th, to pickup my new car. The paper work was completed and Mike Wahl was very knowledgeable regarding loan documents and warranties. Very painless transaction. I am truly shocked. I've never had a good experience at a dealership but Heuberger Subaru is officially the worst one yet. I was going to buy a New Subaru Legacy Touring but then I worked with Antonio Caraballo and the games that he and his colleagues played were unbelievable so I left without buying. I do not recommend Heuberger Subaru and I do not recommend Antonio Caraballo. My advice is to go somewhere else.

Do not bother wasting your time buying a used car here. I think most of the positive reviews must be more about Subaru than Heuberger. Sent a request to get more information about a BMW and only provided my name and cell number. No response for a couple of days, so I called the dealer. They said they sent me an email and showed me my email address which had ....donotreply@ as the address. Not a big deal. The problem started when I showed up to the dealer. I called ahead and said I was only interested in one car. I get there and the car is buried behind 3 cars. I had called and confirmed via text when I was going to be at the dealer. The real reason for the delay is so they can ask you stupid questions about trade, money down, etc. Here the experience gets even worse, because of the wait, I only had time for a short test drive. Later in the afternoon, I came back with my daughter and was told only one of us can be in the car. I am sure my 14 year old daughter would have loved to leave me at the dealer to take the car for a drive, but I am not willing to let my 14 year old daughter wait at a dealership by herself. I ask to talk to a manager so we could take the car out and this is the reason for this review. I do not know is name, but he was a condescending rear end. He questioned why I would want to get the car inspected, said to buy the car and we could put a condition into the buyer’s agreement. Do I look as dumb as you sound? He said it would be a difficult process to have the car inspected and a tech would have to take the car to my mechanic and he wasn't sure when this would be possible. He “ensured me the car was in great condition and my mechanic wouldn’t find anything.” Then added, I could not ride with my Mechanic because his tech had to be in sight of the car at all times. DO NOT BUY a used car without it getting looked at independently. If the car were not hard to find, I would have ended the experience right there. But the experience gets even better, he uses the stupid sales trick that the salesmen must drive the car off the lot. Really? I asked why I could not take the car by myself with my daughter and said no because if we did that someone might steal the car. Now you are insulting me by suggesting I am a felon. Stealing a $40,000 vehicle is a serious crime. He then added I could only take the car for a short test drive. I am looking for a vehicle that hard to find or I would have ended the experience and moved on. Since the car is one of one in Colorado right now, I told them I was very serious about buying the car but wanted to take the car out with my wife and take the vehicle to a have an independent inspection. I was told this was not possible, so I have moved on. Do not bother wasting your time buying a used car at Heuberger. I have moved on and did not write this review until 2 days after my experience. With Covid the experience is even worse. Any dealer that questions why you would want to have an independent inspection and drive a used car with your wife isn’t worth your time. The good news is there is always another used car and it will be at a dealer that respects their customers.

My husband went in to purchase a vehicle. This individual did not care about the sale at all. When he would ask questions it seemed like a bother and he dragged his feet to get paperwork as in our time being there was not important. He also went into say we had poor credit when we checked our credit at first and it was not. Then was trying to say because my husband was not a doctor that he wouldn’t be able to just get a car. As in my husband job in the militarybis garbage. He was very rude and treated us like we didn’t matter and it didn’t matter if we walked out with a car or not. Then we tried to talk to another dealer and he just very oh well willie will be with ya shortly after we were waiting a while. Didn’t care to get information. Just treated very poorly. He did not want to explain anything in information. He had us standing in a hallway explaining quick things and tell us rudely why we wouldn’t get the car on the way we were talking about. Which is fine but he could have been professional sat us down to talk to us. This is the second time I have been to this dealership and been treated like someone not important or that our business is wanted there.

Joe was extreamly helpful to us. We were considering a RAV4 (it didn't have a chance after a test drive - just not a Subaru) an Impreza and a CrossTrek. We drove both Subarus and talked extensively about each with Joe. He made sure we knew he could help us with either one we decided on. Price was easy and great. My only complaint is that it's too bad doing the paperwork takes so long (this happens at any dealer).

My wife and I first went into Heuberger Motors looking to purchase a new Forester at a great price. After looking at the floor models, we asked to talk with a salesperson, and Joe Esker came to offer his help. Joe was friendly and courteous as he answered our questions and set up a test ride for us. His knowledge of the Forester helped us decide exactly what options, accessories and colors we wanted. He gave us a great price without any pressure or coercion to make a quick decision. Joe also promptly answered multiple questions from us in follow-up emails/texts. We ended up ordering a new 2019 Forester with the exact specifications we were looking for. Three weeks later, our car arrived and after a test drive and complete review of all the new technology and features, we took it home. It was a pleasant and fun experience, and we thank Joe for his help in making the process enjoyable. His honesty, humor and openness was a refreshing change from other salespeople at other dealerships that we have had to deal with. It was a five-star experience, plus complementary coffee drinks from their first-class coffee bar to top it off!

Easy Car-Buying Experience

I came in not really expecting to buy the car that I was test driving since I had already ordered something else. The value for the money and the quality of the Crosstrek changed my mind! My salesperson was very helpful, knowledgeable and able to answer any questions that I had. I did experience one glitch in the process worth nothing. I had was a discrepancy in trade value, I was told initially one value and then it dropped when I went in to buy the car. Outside of that, the experience was seamless.

I was able to get a majority of the car deal done online. They honored the trade in value from the online quote and Andrew was a pleasure to work with. The only thing that increased my monthly quoted price were warranties and oil changes that I decided to purchase in addition to the car. It was my intention to purchase them before I went there. Very happy with the efficient customer service experience. This is my 3rd Subaru in 5 years because I upgraded the vehicle each time. I love the reliability and all wheel drive. We made a visit to Heuberger Motors on 08/31/2013 because our old Subaru had to be retired after 163,000 miles. The experience we had was amazing, we were treated like we were the only people there and with respect. Our salesman was Randy Bailey. We, like many others were not sure what we wanted so we sat down with Randy and just talked about our needs before we even started looking. He was very understanding and offered us several options. We walked the used lot looking for the right car without success. After a short time, we discussed a new unit, Randy had all the answers and was not the "pushy" type, he listened and showed us cars that were within our budget, and payment range. My wife fell in love with a 2013 Impreza, with the premium and all weather packages, we were very surprised to see the 30+MPG rating and safety features the car came "stock" with. At last we found the car we had been looking for, now for the financial details to be worked out, (hummm I hate this part), We really liked that we weren't stuffed into a tiny little office and then told our payment was much higher than we had discussed, or they needed more money down to make it work, but rather everything we discussed was just as it was going to be. During this time we were made comfortable at a desk on the sales floor, where Dawn from finance came to us, and explained all the details of each protection package and talked with us like we were friends, not a number or another notch in the days business totals, and we still had a payment that fit our budget, we also added the maintenance package, glass protection, and custom tinted windows to the deal, and was it still within our budget . Our overall experience was better than any we had in the past, we have already determined that when our older car gets to the point that we need to replace it that we will be going back to Heuberger Motors to buy another new vehicle, hopefully from the same crew. There are so many options to buying a new car , and so many different dealerships out there to choose from, but after what we experienced I would recommended Heuberger Motors to all my family and friends. After you see how they operate, you'll find that they have set the bar for buying a car very high, and no other dealership we have dealt with has even come close to Heuberger Motors. After all the red tape was completed Randy went over all the books, service schedule, tire warranty, roadside assistance, each and every button in the car, opened every door, and every option was covered in detail, and his knowledge was impressive. Thank You Randy Bailey for all your hard work, and making our buying experience such a wonderful one!!

I was hoping to get my trade in keys back from my salesman and this guy walks up and demanded to know why we weren’t going to buy that car. Our salesman had just informed us we had a five hour wait even if we were paying in full by check so we decided to break for lunch... After walking outside to cool off, your manager in black suit watched us leave, he knows the effect your pushy sales “techniques” had. The old days of car buyers being held ransom are over, we can have cars delivered from our phones. We don’t need dealers who act like that. Btw we got a Used Forester with the features we wanted for the same price for the used rental car your company was offering without the features. They also gave us more than double the trade in amount your company offered. I had heard so many of your ads on the radio that I had to at least drive a Subaru! Love the cars, guess we all have bad days!?!

Ernesto was an amazing salesman!! He did not pressure us into anything and he was very patient with all of our questions and quirks. He was absolutely refreshing to deal with and not like most car salesmen/saleswomen. He had relatable stories and situations to us and it was an absolute pleasure to have been offered the opportunity to work with him!! If I or any of my friends are ever in the market for another Subaru, we will definitely be requesting Ernesto! After Ernesto was done, Buzz was amazing too. He did the financing, was up front and honest with us and was also super awesome to deal with too!! I really enjoyed my experience with this team!
