Share the Love 2022 Begins

Our favorite time of year is upon us again! Long time customers will already be aware, but Share the Love is the time of year that we raise a ton of money for our hometown charity as well as four national charities selected by Subaru. This year, our partner, Teller County Regional Animal Shelter will be joining us at our store to meet customers and show off adoptable pets.

We are especially excited to announce that this year we’ve upped our contribution from $50 per car we sell, to $250 per car. That means, if you purchase a new Subaru during the event and select TCRAS as your designated charity, they will receive $250 from Subaru and another $250 from us. That’s a total donation of $500 to them, just because you chose to trust us with your new car purchase! If you aren’t in the market for a new car, don’t worry; bring your Subaru in for routine service like an oil change during the event and we’ll donate $5 on your behalf to TCRAS as well.

Out commitment to TCRAS doesn’t end there, however. We’ll also have the following other activations going on during Share the Love:

• Make a donation in any amount (we suggest $20 or more) and show someone at our store your donation receipt and we’ll give you a Chewbaru dog toy for your own dog.
• Help us gather needed pet supplied for the shelter. Here is a list of items they currently could use
• Doggy Day Out! Our employees will be spending time volunteering at the shelter in Divide. We’ll be taking dogs out for outdoor adventures just to give them a little special attention. We’ll be showing off these dogs on our social media and letting you know about their personalities to help them find better homes.

We really hope that you’l join us in supporting an amazing local non-profit that really depends on community engagement for survival. TCRAS is a small shelter, and they could really use our help. However, the four national charities that Subaru has selected are all very worthy as well so no matter which charity you select when you purchase your Subaru, you’ll be helping someone who really needs your help.

TCRAS

Teller County Regional Animal Shelter is a small shelter in Divide, Colorado just up the hill from Colorado Springs. We’ve been working with them for a few years now and it’s very rewarding to see the impact we have with the help of our customers in taking care of this small shelter.

ASPCA

Make a Wish Foundation

Research shows that children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. The impact of just one wish has the power to transform the lives of everyone involved and helps wish kids and their families have confidence and hope for better days ahead. Through the Subaru Share the Love Event, Make-A-Wish® has granted the life-changing wishes of more than 3,000 kids with critical illnesses. 

Meals on Wheels

Subaru is the largest automotive donor to Meals on Wheels®

Meals on Wheels America provides leadership to local, community-based programs dedicated to fighting hunger and isolation among our nation’s homebound seniors. Through the Subaru Share the Love Event, Meals on Wheels has helped deliver nearly 4 million meals and friendly visits to America’s seniors. 

National Park Foundation

Subaru is the largest corporate donor to the National Park Foundation™

The National Park Foundation, in partnership with the National Park Service, works to protect wildlife and park lands, preserve history and culture, educate and engage youth, and connect people everywhere to the wonder of parks. Through the Subaru Share the Love Event, the National Park Foundation is able to increase public awareness and engagement across our National Park System and provide critical funding to programs and projects in more than 400 national parks.
