Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday at Heuberger Subaru and Support Victory Service Dogs

Heuberger Subaru invites our customers and the Colorado Springs community to a free, dog-friendly America 250 celebration honoring local veterans, first responders, and service heroes.

This special community event will celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States while raising money for Victory Service Dogs, a local nonprofit serving veterans and first responders in need of service animals. Guests can enjoy live music, BBQ, a Hall of Heroes portrait gallery, and the chance to recognize local heroes, including K9 Roam.

A Free Colorado Springs Community Event With a Purpose

As America prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday, Heuberger Subaru is proud to help bring the community together for an event centered on service, gratitude, and support.

This free event will honor local veteran and first responder heroes while giving guests a meaningful way to support those who have served our country and our community. The event is open to the public, dog-friendly, and designed to be a fun, family-friendly gathering for customers, supporters, and neighbors.

Supporting Victory Service Dogs

Victory Service Dogs provides service animals to veterans and first responders who need support in their daily lives. These highly trained dogs can help provide greater independence, confidence, companionship, and stability for the people they serve.

There are currently 30 veterans and first responders waiting for service animals through Victory Service Dogs. Proceeds from the event, including BBQ sales, will help support this important mission and bring more service dogs to the heroes who need them.

Live Music From The Sofa Killers

Guests can enjoy live music from The Sofa Killers, one of Colorado Springs’ favorite live bands. Bring a chair, relax, and be ready to dance.

Whether you’re coming for the music, the mission, or the community celebration, this is a great opportunity to spend the day with neighbors while supporting an important local cause.

BBQ From Mee Maw’s BBQ

Mee Maw’s BBQ will be on site with BBQ available for purchase for $25. Proceeds from BBQ sales will go to Victory Service Dogs.

RSVPs are encouraged because they help event organizers plan how much food to have available. The event is free to attend, but letting us know you’re coming helps make the day better for everyone.

Hall of Heroes Portrait Gallery

The event will also feature a Hall of Heroes portrait gallery recognizing local veterans, first responders, and service heroes. This gallery is a meaningful way to honor the people and working dogs who have served our community, including K9 Roam.
