2023 Share the Love Wrap Up at Heuberger Motors

Share the Love is usually our most impactful community event each winter. We normally raise a ton of cash for both national charities and our hometown charity. This year was no exception and we’re very pleased to announce that we expect the final tally for our friends at Teller County Regional Animal Shelter to be in excess of $120,000!  This represents an all time record for total money raised for our store.

Share the Love is a national charity event that Subaru retailers participate in with Subaru of America. Retailers can select a matching donation amount to compliment the $250 that Subaru donates to charity for each Subaru sold during this time. This year, Heuberger Motors chose to FULLY MATCH Subaru’s donation. The really nice thing about this program is that money donated by us stays local. So if you as a customer were to select TCRAS as your preferred charity, they would receive $500 ($250 from Subaru and $250 from us). Additionally, we donated $5 from each oil change during Share the Love to TCRAS.

The national charities also did very well this year. Make a Wish Foundation, Meals on Wheels, National Parks Foundation and the ASPCA all scored several thousand dollars in donations.

Our efforts this season were not limited just to monetary donations. Our employees contributed directly to the welfare of shelter pets by going to TCRAS in Divide, Colorado and taking the dogs for hikes in the nearby wilderness. See below for other highlights of this Share the Love Season!

We really couldn’t be this successful at making a meaningful impact with community non-profits, and other organizations without your help. So, thank you. Yes we are a car dealer but we like to think our role in the Pikes Peak region is so much more than that. We believe that businesses can be successful and still contribute to the place we call home. It’s definitely the best part about doing business with you all.
